The Story Behind the Masterpiece
This Pichwai painting depicts Lord Shrinathji seated in blessing beneath a spreading Kadamba tree, its branches heavy with blossom — a traditional symbol of shelter and divine abundance. Sacred cows gather at his feet in quiet devotion, representing the soul's yearning for union with the divine, while lotus motifs and flowering foliage frame the composition on either side.
Hand-painted on fabric with natural stone pigments by Mr. Nand Lal, a Nathdwara artisan trained in the GI-tagged Pichwai tradition passed down through generations. Every piece is made to order and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity — minor natural variations are part of its handmade character.
A meaningful centrepiece for a puja room, home temple, or living room feature wall, and a deeply symbolic gift for housewarmings and festive occasions.
